About the author

The creator of The Adventures of Molly O’Ruff  has always believed that the quietest stories often leave the deepest footprints.  Inspired by a love of animals, the Irish countryside, and the tender courage found in everyday life, she created Molly as a reflection of the small but meaningful moments that shape childhood.

Drawing from a deep appreciation for home, family, and nature, her writing blends gentle adventure with emotional growth. Rather than grand heroics, her stories focus on belonging, resilience, and the steady confidence that grows when a child learns to trust their own pace.

Raquel was inspired by a real-life miniature Irish Doodle whose curious spirit and observant nature sparked the beginning of the series. What started as a simple story grew into a heartwarming collection designed to nurture imagination, empathy, and quiet bravery.

Through each book, the author hopes to create a reading experience that feels calm, reassuring, and enduring — stories families return to, not just once, but again and again.

When she isn’t writing, she enjoys time with family, long walks with her five dogs, and noticing the same small wonders that Molly discovers in her adventures.
